Confirmation

Confirmation is an important step in the Christian journey where baptized believers publicly affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and commit themselves to a life of faithful discipleship. During Confirmation, the Bishop prays for candidates and lays hands on them, asking God to strengthen them through the Holy Spirit.

Candidates receive instruction in Christian doctrine, worship, prayer, and the responsibilities of living as committed followers of Christ.

Those seeking Confirmation are encouraged to enroll in the parish confirmation classes in preparation for the Bishop's visitation.

Eligibility:

1. Must be baptized.
2. Must complete the confirmation classes.
3. Should demonstrate a desire to grow in Christian faith and service.
